Dr Payman – Dentist

Dr Payman is your friendly Toronto-born dentist who somehow ended up in the heart of Australia (don’t worry, he didn’t get here by outrunning a herd of angry moose—though that would’ve been a story). He went from dodging moose and deer in Canada to dodging kangaroos in Australia, so if his reflexes seem extra sharp, now you know why.

He’s had quite the journey—living in France, Italy, the UK, and now Australia—so don’t be surprised if he throws in a “bonjour,” “ciao,” or “G’day mate” mid-conversation. He even played for the British Dentists Football Club—yes, it’s a real thing! So, if you ever see him running late, he was probably trying to bend it like Beckham in the clinic hallway.

Dentistry, But Make It Fun (And High-Quality!)

Dr Payman takes an approach to dentistry that most people won’t be used to—meaning he’ll actually make you want to come to the dentist. Believe it or not, he might even make it fun (shocking, right?). But jokes aside, he strives to provide the highest quality dentistry possible. Whether it’s a simple check-up or a more complex treatment, his goal is to give you the best care while making sure you feel comfortable and at ease.

Music, Travel & Random Conversations

One thing about Dr Payman—he loves music! So when you’re in his chair, expect to hear some great tunes because he’s always jamming out to something. If you have a request, just let him know—he takes song dedications while he works.

He’s also traveled a lot, which means he loves meeting new people and learning about different cultures. So when you’re in his chair, you can talk about anything—not just teeth! Whether it’s travel, sports, music, or life advice (good or questionable), he’s here to help in any way he can. He does tend to talk a lot, though, so if you need a moment of peace, just let him know—he promises he won’t take it personally!

The Classic Dentist Move + A Little Surprise

Oh, and just a heads-up—he will absolutely ask you to open your mouth, put instruments in there, and then start asking you questions like he fully expects a detailed answer. It’s a special dentist skill they all have. Just blink twice if you’re struggling, and he’ll try to interpret your response.

Also, if you see him switching hands while working, don’t panic! He’s left-handed but ambidextrous, so if you catch him using both hands, just know it’s all part of the plan—he promises he hasn’t forgotten which hand is which!

Looking forward to meeting you and keeping Moranbah smiling—one tooth at a time!
