Dr Hany participates in the Australian Dental Association’s (ADA’s) course; Dermal Fillers for Muscle Relaxation Treatments

Would a patient be able to avoid cavities if they simply brushed their teeth once a month?

Would you lose weight if you just visited the gym once a month?

Would your children automatically make healthy choices if you advised them once to consume healthy foods?

Repetition is the secret to development, advancement, and achievement in all of these areas and many others. Repeated action is necessary to produce a long-lasting result.

With regard to learning and education, the same idea applies.

Why, in your opinion, are so many members of the dental team required to participate in continuing education in order to maintain their dental licenses?

To get them to where the profession is clinically now or to keep them up to date on the most recent advancements in dentistry, what they studied in dental school is insufficient.

Here at Oral Health & Beyond Collective – DentalCareXtra, KIDS, Snoring Laser Care and NovoGen. We make sure that our knowledge of services is constantly updated.

This month, Principal Dentist, Dr Hany Aziz, who has 15 years of Dental & Botulinum Toxin experience, joined the ADA in regards to furthering his already advanced knowledge on Therapeutic use of Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers in General Dental Practice – A two-day course that focused on the therapeutic use of botulinum toxin and dermal fillers for dental practitioners.

The course included the anatomical study of all muscles, arteries, veins, and nerves of the lower face; applications and techniques for using Botulinum Toxin in Dentistry; and an overview of injection techniques and how to deal with complications should they arise.

Observing and Monitoring Objectives

By attending this course, whilst developing existing knowledge and skills, Dr Hany observed and monitored comprehensive information relating to although not only:

  • Financial and legal implications of utilising Botulinum Toxin and Intraoral dermal fillers
  • Anatomical territories associated with the lower face
  • Possible pitfalls and complications
